Shining the spotlight on the future stars of the NHL this week, Sportsnet will be rinkside in Red Deer, AB to deliver exclusive coverage of the 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. The puck drops on Sportsnet’s live broadcast coverage on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West, Sportsnet ONE, Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet NOW.

Live from Red Deer’s Centrium, host Caroline Cameron and expert panelists Colby Armstrong and Todd Warriner will deliver in-depth analysis and insight throughout the annual CHL showcase. Play-by-play announcer RJ Broadhead will have the in-game call alongside analyst Sam Cosentino and host Rob Faulds.

In the heart of the action, Sportsnet’s Hockey Night in Canada and Rogers Hometown Hockey host Ron MacLean will be acting head coach for Team Cherry alongside assistant coaches Dave Hunter and Brent Sutter. On the opposing bench, fellow Sportsnet broadcaster Kelly Hrudey will lead Team Orr with Robyn Regehr and Marc Habscheid.

Held annually since 1996, the Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game showcases the CHL’s Top 40 NHL draft eligible players, featuring talent from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
